About Clarendon College

On February 02, 1942 Rev. Lester Davy founded Clarendon College in the hills of Chapelton, Clarendon to address an educational need for the children of the district’s farmers.

The school which started at Rose Bank with two teachers and ten students was eventually relocated to its present location at Tavanore.

Clarendon College is the oldest and largest secondary education institution in Clarendon, catering to over 1900 students. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum spanning Arts, Business, and Science. The Institution also offers an evening school program and a wide array of co-curricular activities.
